First TV news interview as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus

Shortly after Heather was born, the reporter who wrote about our wedding had changed jobs, and now worked for the local TV station. She called asking to do a new video interview. We said sure. It was close to Christmas and they always look for human interest stories to air. 

They came to our house. They wanted to get some shots of Dani and Heather by our Christmas tree. We didn’t have any presents out yet, so we had to wrap some “gifts" real quick for the video.  

During the shoot, I got to talk to the videographer as he was setting up the shot. He told me he always tried to get a shot of his face in some reflective surface during each interview shoot.

He was focusing on one of our shiny Christmas ball ornaments to get his face on camera. In the picture of the ornaments, you can see the reflection of the room they were in.
