Heather's Story

I'm not trying to leave Heather out of this blog, but she is a lot like Joyce in that she is very busy with work, and I dont want to add to her stress level. I have requested her story/stories, but she has not gotten them to me yet. When she does, I will update this post with them.

One Time at Band camp, NO, that's from the movie American Pie.

So,the first story that I had was about the first Christmas we lived here, right? When we were supposed to go back home, to NY,and we didn't. We were on the news right, and they referred to me as one of the little elves that has the chickenpox. Then at school everybody's parents saw it and told their kids, so I became the little elf. 

Okay, so that was one of them. Um, the other thing was all my all the kids that didn't know who you were right. Every time someone would say her dad's name is Santa Claus, they go my dad's the Easter Bunny.  

There was a story about the day that you came up to have Thanksgiving lunch with me. I was in, I think sixth grade, and there was a new kid at school, who apparently was the cool kid that everybody liked, right? He didn't know your name was Santa Claus, and so people were telling him,  and he said, well, if you're Santa Claus, then give me a box of condoms for Christmas, and I remembered the look on your face. It was horrible. A sixth grader said that. I didn't know what condoms were, and you were, like dumbstruck. It was one of the things you tried to just push it under the rug and move on, but it stuck with me because I saw your reaction. 

Oh, the other thing that I think you need to include is people don't know how to spell Santa Claus anymore, right? Because of the “Santa Clause”movie, they all want to put the E at the end. That's the whole point. It's in the contract. And so, if you say Clause, like Santa Claus. They all put the E yeah, so I don't know. I don't understand that either. I'm like, and the way Santa Claus spells it not, like the movie, The movie ruined it. I have to tell everybody that the movie ruined it.
